Pay: $53.63 per hour, plus superannuation
About the role:
The APS 5 Digital Delivery Officer is a team membership position within the Digital Delivery team. The Digital Delivery team are responsible for managing the day-to-day publishing of relevant and accessible content for our audiences. The person in this role will be accountable for organising content workflows and making independent decisions relating to publishing content on the website. The position will provide best practice advice based on data, web accessibility and user experience principles.
The role will undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to the agency's objectives. The APS 5 Digital Delivery Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide best practice advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.
Required experience/skills
- Contributing to the efficient publishing of evidence-based web content, in consultation with stakeholders.
- Using data to inform decisions about content placement, channels and usefulness to the end user.
- Ensuring all web content is accessible and align with the agency style and brand guidelines.
- Publishing content across several agency web assets (sites) based on best practice web accessibility and user experience principles.
- Managing correspondence through team inboxes, including actioning requests or triaging requests to relevant team members for action.
Desirable experience/skills
- Technical knowledge of content management systems
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Drupal content management system
- Experience managing internal stakeholders
